2016 TCC Team Mom Responsibilities and Guide

1. IMPORTANT DATES

1. TEAM PICTURES

• Picture day is August 20th at James O. Breen Rugby fields (South)
• If it rains, it will be rescheduled.
• Time slots cannot be changed!
• The entire team needs to arrive 15 min prior to their time slot
• Every player needs to have a completed order form with payment enclosed.  If pay online, enter code on bottom of form
• Team photo will be taken first following individuals pictures
• Pictures should only take 15 minutes per team
• Make sure team is standing together, not running around and picture ready (shirts tucked in, socks up, hair fixed)

1. HOMECOMING

• A highlighted game you and/or your head coach will choose
• Need help in picking a date? Pick a game on Center field to use inflatable football helmet to have boys run thru.  Preferably as the “home” team.
• Fun ideas – decorate cars, car parade, individuals signs, coach/dad announce boys on field, flower for mom
• Homecoming party – someone’s house or one of our sponsors establishment.
• HOMECOMING SHIRTS
  • T-Shirt order Form (at least 2 weeks prior to homecoming date)
  • Specific instructions on how to submit your order is on the order form
  • Team mom collects all $$ and pays BBK with one check
  • Responsible for emailing roster to BBK.  Proof read correct spelling of each players/coaches names and numbers.  Ask coach to double check!
  • Team mom will be emailed when shirts are ready to be picked up.  Pick-up will be on Thursday 3-6pm or Friday 1-5 at 1900 E Tyler Rd, Unit 700, St Charles, 60174.  This is in the back of the old building and the building name is Strictly Training.

    4)  CHEERLEADERS – STEPHANIE RAMEY

• If you would like cheerleaders for your homecoming or special game, please contact Stephanie Ramey – love2coachcheer@hotmail.com
• There will be cheerleaders at every home game except for 10/15 and she will try to accommodate every team including Travel.

5) SPIRIT WEAR 

• Sprit wear is still available for purchase at http://triboh.com/collections/tricity-chargers
• Orders placed by Aug 20th will be available by Sept 20th and orders placed after Aug 20th may not be available prior to the end of the season.  When ready, orders must be picked up at Triboh’s St. Charles location inside of Elite Sports Training Center at 220 N Randall Rd, St. Charles.  Orders cannot be shipped.  Customers will be notified by email when their order is available for pick-up.

1. CORPORATE SPONSORS & FAMILY SPONSORS

• Please consider supporting the corporate sponsors with team parties, order or just spreading the word.  Please see the TCC website for more information.

1. TEAM BASKETS  (BASKET RAFFLE OCTOBER 8TH ) – ANITA SWARTWOOD

• Please e-mail Anita Swartwood at swartwood97@gmail.com or

with a description of your basket (Basket Name, Contents of basket, approximate value) by AUGUST 27TH.

• Each team is responsible for putting together one basket to donate to our TCC basket raffle fund raiser.
• BUYOUT - If you can collect more than $250 from your team towards a basket, you’re free from making a basket our basket making committee will make your basket for you!
• Basket collection will begin September 3rd and Baskets must be done by SEPTEMBER 10TH.  You can drop them off at the JOB fields.
• Please contact Anita Swartwood at swartwood97@gmail.com with any questions about the Basket Raffle.

1. OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

• Website – You may be asked to create or maintain a Team Website by your Coach.  This can be done very easily through Team Snap/Shutterfly or the TCC website. 
  • Snack – Work with your coach to see how they want to handle snacks. Some coaches do not want snacks.
  • Calendars – Can be updated with practices, games and special events.
  • Photo Collaboration

1. END OF THE YEAR PARTY

• Work with your coach to find a date for an End of Year Party. 
• Try to use a corporate sponsor (let them know you are from TCC)
